Crescent Roll Pecan Pie Bars
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1/2 cup pecans, roasted and chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla paste
1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 350-deg.
Unroll the dough and separate into 2 long rectangles. Place in a 13” x 9” pan, pressing into the bottom and halfway up sides to form a crust. Using your fingers, press the perforations in the dough together to seal.
Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from and oven set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped pecans, sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and egg. Stir until well combined, then pour the filling over the crust.
Return to the oven for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Then let cool completely before cutting into bars to serve.
